The sleek design of the Optio WS80 makes it possible to be used anywhere, even underwater. Optio WS80 is waterproof up to 1.5 meters (5 feet) that enables users to do underwater shots.
Like any versatile tool, the camera also offers HD video recording at most at 30 frames per second. Now, there are not only stills to capture life moments but also offers mobility among the shots. The Optio WS80 is also equipped with the latest face detection technology (32 faces for a hundredth of a second) for shooting portraits. And it doesn’t recognize only faces, but smiles and blinks as well.
Similar to other Pentax cameras, whether digital or single-lens reflex ones, the camera has a shake reduction innovation to avoid blurry images. It also boasts sensitivity up to ISO 6400 for shutter speeds for a clear image under dim places.
