Pentax introduces the Optio W60. It is a 10.0 megapixels, 5x internal optical zoom camera. The high megapixel property of the camera enables it to yield comprehensive and larger images that may be reproduced on more than 8 x 10 enlargements. Its 5x to 28-140 mm internal optical zoom makes this a viable image capturing tool for sceneries. All of these features housed in just an inch body camera.
The 2.5 inch In Plane Switching (IPS) LCD screen allows you to review photos and play back videos even on a very bright day. In contrast, a wet day is also an ideal day to capture pictures as the camera is waterproof up to 13 feet or 4 meters. Additionally, the camera is also cold proof that it allows it to work at sub-zero temperatures and other cold environment.
Like other Pentax cameras, the Optio W60 houses the Advanced Face Recognition, Smile Capture, Blink Detection, Digital Shake Reduction features and innovations. Furthermore, this camera has a Movie Shake Reduction feature that allows blurry-free recording of pictures. The Pentax Optio W60 has a Super Macro mode that redefines the details by allowing to bring out these characteristics to as close as one centimeter.
