Pentax Optio P80

The Optio P80 from the Pentax brand has 12.1 megapixel CCD for capturing images in detail. Both stills and videos that the camera captures are viewable through its big 2.7 inch LCD monitor. Aside from its high megapixel offering, the camera also has a 27.5-110 wide angle optical zoom at four times capacity.

The camera has the shake reduction (SR) technology, developed by Pentax, that features the Pixel Track, Digital and Movie SRs for clear quality stills and videos.

Available in black, pearl and mint, the Pentax Optio P80 has the fast face detection feature that allows it to recognize 32 faces in just three hundredths of a second for shooting portraits. Likewise it has the smile capture technology that identifies the smile of a subject and shoots it and it also has the blink detection that informs the user if the focus of the image has closed his or her eyes.

With its user friendly characteristic, the Optio P80 has the Auto Picture mode that automatically readjusts the setting for the shooting mode depending on the environment. The camera also has an ISO of up to 6400 to increase shutters speeds for moving subjects.
