Panasonic DMC-LX3
The Panasonic DMC-LX3 offers 16:9 images in its black all-metal body, as well as 3:2 and 4:3 ratios. It has a 10 megapixel sensor, Venus Engine IV image processor and a 3” LCD screen with 460,000 dot resolution. It also features high ISO ranges from 80 to 3200.
The Panasonic DMC-LX3 boasts of a 2.5x wide-angle lens with a maximum aperture of F/2.0, 2.5fps continuous shooting, and support for both JPEG and RAW shooting formats. It will appeal to the hobbyist photographer as well as serious ones because of full manual controls and an optical image stabilizer.
The camera uses an SD or SDHC card for storage. The Panasonic DMC-LX3 also includes a component out socket for connection to an HD TV or monitor. It also features Panasonic’s Intelligent Auto which automatically calibrates Intelligent ISO to minimize blur, image stabilization, and face detection. The LCD automatically calibrates itself, as well, according to lighting situations and can boost the backlight to up to 40% outdoors to ensure the screen’s visibility.
