The latest digital camera from Panasonic is the Panasonic DMC-FX580. A 3-inch high resolution touch screen interface is integrated into this camera for a much easier and faster navigation. It also features the latest specification of every Panasonic camera such as the iA (Intelligent Auto) mode and the Face Recognition.
The FX580 comes with a 25 millimeter Leica lens in high quality in 12.1 MP. The wide angle lens can catch almost double of the viewing scene at the same pace and distance as compared to other cameras. With the others, you have to either come near or take a few inches back to be able to catch the whole scene. It also includes six surfaces in aspherical and four lenses in aspherical.
The ratio of the zoom can draw out up to a max of 9.8x for a 3 MP mode of resolution with minimum to no deterioration due to the extra zooming optics.
