The Panasonic DMC-FX150 boasts of a full 14.7 megapixel in a 1/1.72 inch CCD sensor and an image stabilizer in this 151-gram black or silver body. It has a 3.6x optical zoom and a 2.7 inch LCD screen with a wide viewing angle.

It includes the Intelligent Scene Selector. It detects which preset you need to optimize its setting for the picture conditions.

It also has high ISO from 100 to 6400, although 100-400 is preferred by most users to minimize image noise. Its aperture ranges from f2.8 to f9.0 at wide, and f5.6 to f18.0 at telephoto. Minimum shutter speed is 60 seconds and the maximum is at 1/2000. The Panasonic DMC-FX150 allows RAW file shooting and also JPEG, and has the capability to shoot videos up to 1280x720 resolutions at 30fps.
