Pentax K-7 is a digital single lens reflex (DSLR) camera produced by the company of the same name. Considered to be in line with the smallest DSLRs today, the Pentax K7offers a 14.6 megapixels CMOS sensor, a 3-inch LCD monitor, and a top shutter speed of 1/800 seconds.

The Pentax produced K20D DSLR camera offers a 14.6 complementary metal oxide semi-conductor (CMOS) sensor that allows superb image resolution that has a maximum noise control. It is also compatible to any Pentax lens.

Pentax K20D is manufactured with a Shake Reduction camera body that allows no blurry shot every time. The subject you take can be easily viewed through the 2.7-inch 160 degree view field of the LCD monitor.

This camera includes the Pentax Real Image Engine (Prime) that modifies image properties and parameters. The PRIME feature creates an almost true-to-life result with the camera. With its added Expanded Dynamic Range Mode feature, the cameria will give more detail to highlighted portions to the shots while retaining the dark area details.

The Pentax K20D is the smallest of its kind but with the features of that of the bigger ones, easy handling and efficiency. It has 93 individual settings through 36 custom functions that allow maximization of the photographer’s needs. In addition, the Pentax K20D optimizes customization through its custom image modes. The image modes have six preset options that refashion how images are developed by the PRIME processor.

Like other Pentax-produced cameras, the K200D is produced to have a body-based Shake Reduction feature. It has a 10.2 megapixel CCD sensor that similarly present outstanding image resolutions that has optimum control over noise.

Aside from its Shake Reduction feature that is embedded with the creation of the camera body, the Pentax K200D’s body was developed to shield its inner mechanisms against humidity or moisture. Furthermore, its outer bearing made from fiber-reinforced polycarbonate and stainless steel keeps the photographer to shoot under dire weather conditions.

The K200D introduces the Auto Picture mode that analyzes the best setup for the picture. Together with its 2.7-inch LCD monitor in 230,000 dots that allows a 160 degree field of view of the focus item, it gives more accurate and clear playback of the shots taken.

Similar to other cameras from the Pentax line, K200D is also equipped with the Pentax Real Image Engine or the PRIME that lets the image processing optimize the adjustment of the photos parameters and its properties.

The Optio P80 from the Pentax brand has 12.1 megapixel CCD for capturing images in detail. Both stills and videos that the camera captures are viewable through its big 2.7 inch LCD monitor. Aside from its high megapixel offering, the camera also has a 27.5-110 wide angle optical zoom at four times capacity.

The camera has the shake reduction (SR) technology, developed by Pentax, that features the Pixel Track, Digital and Movie SRs for clear quality stills and videos.

Available in black, pearl and mint, the Pentax Optio P80 has the fast face detection feature that allows it to recognize 32 faces in just three hundredths of a second for shooting portraits. X70 is the first Pentax camera to offer the single-lens reflex capability on a compact. Improved with the 24x optical zoom that can cover a range of 26-624 mm. The camera can support an image ratio of 16:9, 4:3, 3:2 and 1:1. It also has a 12 megapixel sensor with a live viewing tool through its wide 2.7 inch LCD monitor. The latter enables the photographer to access features such as Image Stabilization, Auto Picture Mode, HD video recording and other different shooting modes.

The camera also offers an aperture range of F2.8 to F.50. It has a minimum shutter of 4 seconds and the maximum is at one of a four thousandth second. It has a built it flash that can cover a range of 9.1 meters. Pentax X70 has aperture and shutter priority. The camera has the maximum resolution of 4000 x 3000. Also incorporated with the camera is a self-timer at two or 10 seconds. The images can be stored in an SD or SDHC and the camera is designed with a 33.6 MB of internal storage. The Pentax Optio P70 has an effective 12.0 megapixels CCD that can capture clear and huge images that can still be enlarged and printed at more than an 11 x 14 inch size and retain image quality. It also offers a 4x internal optical zoom that can be translated as 2.75-100mm in wide angle, good for distant and landscape photos.

P70 is offered in three colors, suited for its ultra-slim aluminum-made body. Despite, the slim size, the camera offers a good 2.7 inch LCD monitor to view photos and menus. For this Pentax-produced camera, the Pixel Track Shake Reduction feature is introduced that delimits the shakes during handheld use and produce the same defined images.

As with most cameras today, it is designed with the Advanced Face Recognition technology that mechanizes to capture up to 32 images in just 0.03 seconds.
