Canon Rebel XTi 400D EOS

Canon Rebel XTi is an upgrade of the best seller digital SLR Digital Rebel XT. It comes with a 10.1 megapixel sensor, EOS dust cleaning system, and a 2.5 inch 230,000 pixel LCD with 160 degree viewing angle. Just like the EOS series, Rebel XTi will work with a wide array of lenses and other digital camera accessories.

New innovations are integrated in this digital camera adapting some of the advanced features of the EOS series. The upgraded features of this digital camera include the PictBridge printing enhancements, mode settings of Picture Styles, and high image quality.

Canon Rebel XTi enhancements include better grip, improved interface, buffer depth of 27 Large/Fine JPEGs or 10 RAW frames, can create folders that hold up to 9,999 images, quick color change modes picture style settings, 9-point AF precision system, faster processing of image, improved Print/Share functions, editing functions with the options of index print, and customizable auto-rotation.

The thumb grip on Rebel XTi has improved. There is a narrowing curve that supports the heel of the thumb as well as a pad for the thumb to grip that is made of rubber rather than the traditional single bulge in the top right corner.

There is an IR emitter and sensor above the LCD screen and below the viewfinder that detects the presence of your eye. It sends a signal to the camera that the screen no longer needs to be turned on, and also prevents glare interference with the light coming through the optical viewfinder.
