The Canon PowerShot SD700 is the first Digital IXUS camera that uses a Canon optical Image Stabilizer (IS) technology to a slender bodied compact camera. This technology offers the user a “shake-free” state that enhances your image sharpness and clarity. Not only will this technology work with moving pictures but also with close zoom in images. On the other hand, laden with a large 2.5 inch LCD screen at its rear end features a wide viewing angle for easy sharing of images. Having a new and unique appearance from other IXUS models for the Canon PowerShot SD700 IS is basically the work of designer Kosei Takahashi. He took the idea for its design from the elliptic curves of colored segments and the bold flowing lines that is seen where segments meet. Canon PowerShot SD700 IS with this concept takes a tri-colored design of “ice metal” silver and “moonlight” silver in satin and glossy finishes, complemented by an ebony black gloss circling the LCD screen.
