Canon PowerShot SD600

Sporting the” box and circle” concept by original IXUS designer Yasushi Shiotani to exhibit that elegant feel to compact digital cameras, Canon PowerShot SD600 was introduced as one of the jewels of the Digital IXUS line. It has a high resolution 2.5-inch LCD screen, a steel bodied, silver colored, and has an ultra slim body full of noted features.

One is a 6.0 megapixel resolution for sharp and vivid images. This resolution also complements well with a 3x optical zoom UA lens to obtain bold image detail. Add to that a DIGIC Image Processor which improves much of the speed of startup, autofocus, and playback. Supported by iSAPS technology, the DIGIC II Image processor gives greater focus speed, accuracy, exposure, and white balance.

Another added feature of the PowerShot SD600 is its high ISO Auto settings which lessen effects of camera shake and sharpen images in low-light situations by having high shutter speed for greater versatility in shooting.

The Canon PowerShot SD600 has a highly flexible movie mode where you can record up to one minute full-motion movie at 60fps. While with other lower frame rates it will reach up to an hour of recording or 1GB file. There is also a slight improvement to the “My color” photo effects from previous models. In the Canon PowerShot SD600, you can apply effects both before and after shooting your images rather just before you shoot.

For easy printing and uploading of image and movie files, Canon PowerShot SD600 also has the print/share button. Users having any PictBridge compatible photo printers make direct printing easier and faster.

Convenience and quality are two words which we can say was greatly considered upon developing this compact digital camera.
