Canon PowerShot A620

Canon PowerShot A620 raked positive reviews from users regarding its good battery life, durability, and easy-to-use features. Introduced in August 2005 as an addition to the Canon A series digital cameras. Constructed in lightweight metal (front and top) and plastic (rear and grip) material and powered by four AA batteries.

You will also get excellent image quality with half the price of professional cameras. As it was designed to produce high quality photographs, Canon PowerShot A620 was made affordable without compromising output quality. It contains lots of advanced options in photographic features which are accessed via menu. The interface is also well designed and easy to use making it fit for a professional or novice photographer.

It has a 2.0-inch vari-angle LCD that allows it to be tilted in any angle you desire to shoot whether it be taking an arms length self portrait or shooting overhead. For conventional photographic experience, you can also use its viewfinder. Doing so will extend battery life to 1500 shots on a single battery set.

It has a longer zoom range with the 4x zoom lens which covers 35-140mm equiv. range. You also have the option to add wide or telephoto converter lenses for added creative shooting experience. It has 20 shooting modes and a 1cm macro focus. Its maximum image size is 3072 x 2304.

The most significant addition to the Canon PowerShot A620 is its DIGIC II processor. This answered the biggest complaint on older Canon camera models. The DIGIC II processor remedies the old problems on sluggish performance in focusing, image playback and shot-to-shot times. It makes Canon PowerShot A620 very responsive and fast in every shooting experience.
