Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III

The 1Ds EOS Mark III from Canon is engineered with an entirely new fully framed sensor CMOS of 21.1 MP resolution that delivers amazing image quality. The recording media is a CF Card Type I and II with an SD/SDHC memory slot for each memory card and an external media USB v.2 connection.

Two DIGIC III processors drive the signals coming from the CMOS sensor which introduces a new pixel and circuit design with on-chip noise reduction. With this, a total of five pictures per second can be taken in sequence with the highest resolution. The DIGIC III processors can produce 100 Megapixels per second, making it suitable to take 10 frames per second.

EOS Canon Mark III has three advance dust cleaning feature which include automatic sensor cleaning, user-activated sensor cleaning, and dust delete data appended to the captured image. Mark III’s LCD monitor is 3 inches big; this has become the standard for digital cameras today. The large screen enables the Live View feature.

Live View is a digital camera feature which uses LCD display as its electronic viewfinder, with histogram options and grid overlay. When the EOS Mark III is attached to a computer, this feature can be used to compose, capture, and adjust images using software that comes with the digital camera.

Mark III’s auto focus system has 19 cross-type sensors scattered across the auto focus area at f/2.8. It also includes 26 more assist points and features an Auto focus that turns the ON button. Available picture selections include Standard, Portrait, Landscape, and user defined.
