Canon EOS 20D

The digital 8.2 megapixel single lens semi-professional reflex camera, EOS 20D digital camera from Canon, is an upgrade of the EOS Canon 10D. It uses a sensor with a C sized APS image that accepts lenses such as EF-S and EF.

Canon 20D features more megapixels around 8.2 instead of the 6.3 megapixels which retains its cropping feature to 1.6. It supports a USB version 2.0 connection. The buffer of EOS 20D is made larger so it can shoot more scenery in several frames/second. Also, it has the flash metering system features such as the DIGIC 2 processor.

The Canon digital 20D model also comes with firmware updates so you can be sure you have the latest software that has a wireless transmitter to remotely transfer images from the file server, it can be either through a wireless Internet connection (Wi-Fi) or through an Ethernet connection.

The shutter is a vertical travel, focal-plane shutter with all speeds that are electronically controlled. The battery is a Lithium-Ion BP-511A rechargeable battery pack with an internal memory CR2016 battery that supports the frame counter and the clock.

EOS 20D is 144 x 105.5 x 71.5 mm and the body weighs 685 grams. The LCD monitor in the back of the digital camera is 1.8 inches or 46 millimeters with 118,000 pixels.

The View Finder features an Auto Focus points with focus confirmation light, shutter speed, manual exposure, Aperture, AE lock, AEB level, amount of exposure compensation, partial metering area, high-speed sync, red-eye reduction option, FE lock, flash ready, and flash compensation amount.
